I dont have the first pics of the car, all my pictures got lost in a hard drive failure a few months ago, the only reason i still got many of them is because the pictures were posted places ha.
here is one of the earliest pics of my car. its clost to stock in this pic, well sorta. stock out side minus the 20's. it had the vortech s/c on it at this time but it was in a very primitive state...

sold the 20's got some gt/cs 18's and alittle suspension work done in this pic, this was when i had the eibach prokit..

skip some time.. sold the 18's got some 19 saleen heritage wheels lots more suspension work lowered it more with the eibach sporlines. little more perormance work too.

i decided the v6 just wasnt gonna get any faster so i yanked it out and put a 4.6 3v in it.
out come the v6
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc74/jeremy_cnwy/motor%20swap/Picture1043.jpg
in goes the v8
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc74/jeremy_cnwy/motor%20swap/Picture1070.jpg

yes yes, i had to use my tractor as a lift lol. its was a fun swap, btw.... EVERYTHING done to this car besides the paint (car has been painted 4 times) has been done by ME. i'v had to many shops and people screw me so i decided NO one but me was gonna work on this car.

v8 swap almosr done...
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc74/jeremy_cnwy/motor%20swap/Picture1077.jpg

the day after the v8 swap was complete....
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc74/jeremy_cnwy/SNC00390.jpg
yep, thats the hood wrapped around the roof... long story short, the hood latch mechanism broke and let the hood go at about 65mph.
so on goes a black hood that was given to me.
http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc74/jeremy_cnwy/SNC00400.jpg

so tires for the 19's were just CRAZY expensive (search for a 295/30/19 for example) so i sold the 19's and got some replica 95 cobra r 18's...

i'm going to have another shoot done soon. i do NOT like the black hood. i want to get a hood that matches, i'm thinking a cowl hood.

so... in sumery this car started life as a premium v6 and since has been through
6 sets of wheels (couple are not posted as they are track wheels will post later)
4 paint jobs (5th needed)
4 transmissions (busted 3 t5's with too much power for them and now have a tr3650 long story)
4 clutches (stock v6, spec 2, centerforce df that i hated, and not the stock v8 clutch)
3 power adders (H/O Vortech V6, standard Vortech v6, and Zex nitrous v8)
2 rear ends
2 suspension setups
and God know what all else i'm sure i'm forgetting something.

my best times with the s/c v6 was a 8.54 1/8th @ 84 and a 13.1 @ 107 1/4 with a 1.9 60ft. it had a lot more in it then ran that in 90 degree weather and the car was heat soaked and full weight and on radials.

best time with the v8 is a 7.9 @ 86 1/8th and 12.52 @ 108 1/4 and a 1.69 60ft.
this too was an run made while not being fully prepped for the track. the only difference in this run and the car how it get driven every day was the slicks out back.

looks good, lots of blood and sweat in that car it looks like. If I liked the new mustangs even a little, yours would be the look I would want to go for (minus the red paint and the rims...just not my style). The only new mustang Ive seen that I like is a friend of my dad's Cobra...it is red, but its a Cobra, so what other color than black could it be

keep up the good work on the car

Im not really a fan of those mustangs either, but i really like this one. Nice work man. Good to see that you have done most the work yourself.
