i know a guy that knows a guy that has a couple of NEW Optima Red Tops that he's selling for $70. so if you want one, post up because he only has possibly two left. i picked one up today :D. i say possibly two, because there is a guy at my work thinking about getting one. if he does, there is only one left. figured i'd pass this on to help him sell them.

Throw it in the truck, your going RWD anyways, going to need all the traction you can get!

yeah, cheaper than an Auto Zone battery. i didn't need one, but picked one up anyways. the batteries in my 3 cars are new and still have 3 years of warranty on them. but the Optima is going in the BMW.

Relocating battery doesn't throw weight distribution off that much. Unless your totally sealing the box the right way then yea thats gona add weight. If not doin it by track regulations then it won't affect much. It might be noticeable on fwd but not that much. The biggest thing about relocating the battery is the extension of wires you have to do which causes resistance, which can affect how much battery power gets to where it needs to go. I know some guys that put them in the trunk in their eclipse have hard cold starts and sometimes don't start with out jump boxes. I think the only way to fix that is to get a battery thats slightly stronger than what the manufacturer says to compensate for the resistance that will be added by extending wires. But all that depends on where you put the battery.

^^^that purple SRT-4 thats been sittin up at Rob Doll Nissan attempted to relocate the battery....thats why the car is sitting there. he was tryin to sell it for like $6300 for a while, but it looks like shit, not to mention it doesnt run righ tnow because of the shoddy relocation job

well with my car being close to 40r/60f weight distribution i dont wanna unbalance that. :) plus its a pain in the ass to relocate wires on my car. Everything is over-engineered to a extreme lol I had enough problems running my wires for my amp.

not to stay off topic sooo..

Someone buy these batteries :D

It just screams project car.

nope. it screams "stay away! i'm someone else's piece of shit project that they gave up on." the best projects start in stock form, not left overs :).

Yeah, I know. I wish I had time, money, and space so I can get a project. Haven't settled on a car yet but I would never pick something like that. What I meant was that is screamed that it was a project car.
