View Full Version : Auto X
Anyone ever been or know of a place that holds events? I'm curious about taking the stang out, I'm a complete novice but would like to learn and pick up the sport as a hobby. Any information is appreciated!

This is the local site I've found before. I've looked into autocross before but you have to be careful with your modifications as it can put you into a class with much more expensive cars. I don't think anyone in Columbus sets up autocross events, even though the Civic center would be a good location.
I'm not as much as the competition as I can just wanting a place to push my car a little. Straight line performance is fun but gets a little old. Really would like to see how she can hold up in the twisties.

I definitely know what you mean. I'm pretty sure there is a general class for new drivers, which is much less competitive. I'll do some more searching around and see what else I can find.

There's random snall events all over around here just none that are really close. I've been wanting to do it too. Since I have a motor swap and coilovers I'm automatically in almost the higest class though which sucks.
Road course is what I really want to do though.
Check in IA cause a lot of those guys do road course/autox stuff.
