buying a new car sounds. good must mean you got a new job?
04-08 Expeditions are going cheap, I'm talking Eddie Baurer editions going for $8k-$10k depending on mileage and goodies inside. I've been looking them up for the wife. I also looking at the '97-'03 bodystyle in hopes of making my own himalaya!

^^ that looks bad ass! ^^
i personally like Tahoes. but on a serious note, since your car is paid for, i'd get my own place first. and once i got comfortable with the bills, then i'd get a car note. just speaking from experience of aquiring a car note before moving out :D.

Well im currently doing my internship for my EMT stuff.. My car is ... fairly reliable i guess however I can feel it starting to kick its last miles. The ABS unit failed last week and its leaking oil from somewhere. I need a reliable car when I start working. Once I finish all my stuff for my EMT ill move out once I start getting money saved up but until now ill just chill at my moms house. (no bills :D) but in the mean time im gonna get a new suv.
I was thinking about this 2004 Explorer its only around 10k so I could sling a loan no problem.

American = Cheaper not only in price but repairs, and maintenance. (you know how we get rapped by european automaker prices. P/S fluid Ford $5.99 /qt VW/Audi $28.59/qt )
SUV = the most overall versatility of any type of vehicle

American cars are dirt cheap compared to others (with some exceptions). My brother's first car was a '91 Explorer, and I miss that truck at least once a week. They were smaller back then, his was 5 speed (aka a lot of fun to drive), and the versatility was amazing. It was so reliable too.

Yup, it was a concept FORD produced back in the day. I used to have a diecast of it, wish I could find it. Always wanted to build one just gotta figure out how to keep water (elements) from coming inside after cutting the back.

Yea I looked online for some trailblazer SS and the price range is a little higher then I want $15,150 - $25,700. Wanting to stay under $14k... I can get a 05 Trailblazer EXT LS for around $10k. Ugh this is so hard haha.. The SRT-8 jeeps are expensive as hell, and I know its a powerful platform but I just dunno about jeep lol.

I wouldn't trust a Mopar as far as I could throw it.

Finally a car I can make fun of: it's just a Neon with a PT Cruiser motor. Pop quiz, who owns Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep right now (don't google it).

It is indeed Fiat.
How do you get spare parts for a Fiat?
Just follow another one around.
What's the difference between a Fiat and a Jehovah's Witness?
You can close the door on a Jehovah's Witness.
When should you do the first oil change on a Fiat?
When it gets to 50,000 miles or (in other words) never.
Have you seen the latest Fiat anti-theft device?
They enlarged the logo.
What occupies the last six pages of the Fiat owner's manual?
The bus and train timetables.
How can you get a Fiat to do 60 miles an hour?
Push it over a cliff.
A friend went to a dealer the other day and said, "I'd like a gas cap for my Fiat."
The dealer replied, "Okay. Sounds like a fair trade."
How do you make a Fiat go faster?
Tell the tow truck driver to speed up.
What do you call a Fiat on a hilltop?
A miracle.
Two Fiats on a hilltop?
Science fiction.
Three Fiats on a hilltop?
A funny place to build a Fiat factory.
/derailment.

Its actually not a pt cruiser motor in a neon. The block they used has been around before the 90s and used in many dodge vehicles. The head also has too. They both just got a little re design and put different internals in. They do like most manufacters do, just reuse old engines and heads with different internals. And if I can remember correctly a current dodge vehicle shares the same block as the evo x. I use to didn't like the little skittle either until I seen darrell cox running 9s in one with an auto transmission. Sry for thread jack.

yeah, the SRT4's can be fast...but have no "sex appeal" IMO. they don't look bad, but they are blah. late 80's Dodge turbo cars were awesome, tho!
