yes indeed and this is how ours is gonna look :pound: i wish lol but i would like to go to a car show like that or one like SEMA
I would have made a post about the WoW show but I didn't know until the day of, so little late notification! Once day, I'll have my car clean enough to be in this show...

I would love to go to SEMA or HIN. they're always so far away. I thought it was funny how 98% of the pics were domestic and 2% were imports.
That wasn't because of my taste...all the imports that were there had a pic taken except maybe for a couple that just didn't tickle my fancy. The people who have $$$ to create this level of show car usually tend to pick classics instead of modern day imports. There were also a lot of custom creations like that Undertaker with a dodge 440 sitting on a motorhome frame with semi rims/tires. Let's face it the classic just had better lines than current modern day car - in my opinion.

1+ cant beat a 68 fastback mustang, 69 camaro, 70 cuda AAR and nothing will ever top the 57 bel air IMO gotta love the classics lol but in all honesty if you take a pol when most people go to a car show they tend to look at the classic muscle and domestic cars before the body kitted out import cause to get decent body lines on the newer imports is hard to do without the body kit...not sayin some of them dont look good but show imports usually take it a little to the extreme for my tastes

You can't get in SEMA unless you're a vendor. I was about to go to vegas in november but i ended up not going. It was the same weekend I was going to be there, but they have strict rules now on not letting the general public in which sucks.

Idk about the fact that no one looks at Imports, its just preference, and thing is, people with money are generally older, therefore they like classics. Wait a bit, when people our age are in their 50's, you'll see more imports being respected. I do like muscle cars tho, 69' Charger ftw...

ha even when we get 50 people will still value the clasic muscle more than imports...not sayin imports cant be attractive but for the most part they dont really compare to the classics but wut i didnt say before is that the new domestics still dont even compare...and IMO the import gets alot of respect in the show scene but no where near what the cars of the mid 1900's do...i mean look at it how many 1970's imports do you acutually see in shows??? And i also never said people dont look at them i said "they tend to look at the classic muscle and domestic cars before the body kitted out import" :)

What Jim said, its just that there are a lot more badly put together imports than domestics, but there are some bad domestics...
And we're just talking about America lol...Every country is going to favor its cars more, people pretty much dont drive American cars in Germany, maybe some Fords but...

ha cause its alot like euros here but flip flopped there they dont have lots of people that can work on our domestics and plus they gotta pay to import our cars :) to them out vette is like a high class benz here...over there the benz is like a corolla lol in comparison of price and only price lol but true its a regional taste thing
I never said people don't like looking at imports. I'll stare at a nicely done RX7/Supa/WRX/Evo for hours! Since the kid has been born I would like to get a STi or Evo for the 4 doors...

I can't wait till I turn 25 so my insurance will allow me to get an evo or a sti. I feel ya man.

I'm 26 so I'm in the clear...paying the $30k is the problem. I'm not sure how a used one would be since you know the previous owner beat on it. Inside is probably all sticky and shit.

Well I would get an Evo 8 or 9, and I would also choose an older Subi. I just like the body styles more. there owners beat on them but there are still a few good ones out there.
