I got a new set of sockets the other day (299 pieces) and it had quite a few repeats that I dont need extras of. Ill get the exact list up tomorrow. There are some of all three drive sizes (1/4, 3/8, and 1/2).

33 - 1/4 in. will be $2 each (short) $2.50 each (deep)
42 - 3/8 in. will be $3 each (short) $3.50 each (deep)
8 - 1/2 in. will be $4 each

Get them all for $150

Let me know what sizes the 1/2" drive are. And do you think they would work ok on an impact?

If they aren't impact sockets then i would be really careful with them. Non impact sockets are ok for light impact power but i would rather use an impact socket for an impact. I have seen one shatter on a guy and it could easily do some damage.

O I know that, I just don't feel like paying some real money for impact sockets when I can break a few for cheap. They would look good next to my snapped in half lug wrench and broken torque wrench.

Ill get the sizes tomorrow when I get off work, and Im sure you can use them on an impact wrench but like 98dsm said you should be careful. I know what you mean about the sockets bein expensive...I went to Sears the day after Thanksgiving and dropped $600 like it was nothin, got me a new compressor, hose, and impact tools, but didnt get any sockets even though they were on sale for like 1/2 off...I regret it now because like a set of 10 is $100

but since these are Craftsman sockets they will prolly take some of the abuse, and if you do break them you can take them to Sears and get them replaced with no problem
