Since some of you have kids and whatnot I decided to post this up, or you probably heard it on the news. CPD found a bunch of razorblades taped to playground stuff.. Sick fuckers. Be careful!
Columbus Police investigators have found almost a dozen razor blades taped to playground equipment at Lakebottom Park.
Officers have taped off the area with yellow markings and are not letting anyone enter the park.
Around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, a concerned mother noticed the blades on the equipment before her child mounted them. The mother then, pointed out her findings to a nearby officer.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Investigators believe the blades were placed on the equipment overnight.
Meanwhile, Myles Caggins, the Chief of Operations and Facilities for the Muscogee County School District sent a message to all school principals and athletic directors to check their school's playground equipment.
In addition, officials with Columbus Parks and Recreation are checking parks throughout the city for similar dangers.
