Hey all, I am ok, just very sore today. Still pissed though because I got a ticket for running a red light when it was the other lady who did but she had some lady say that I did it, left the scene and then called on the lady I hit's cell and talked to the police and told them I ran the light. So pretty much, I have the sports car so I got targeted since I had no one else with me. Should have called one of my friends and had them say they were there too but had to leave and say she ran it, but that would be lying so really can't do that. The nerve of some people. At this moment I have no idea where I'm taking the car to if it can even be fixed. And since I will no have to come up with the 500 deductible since the b...h lied, I'm pissed.

Schmally, Smiths is only like 10 mins away from Columbus, GA. Its across the river from Columbus.

The other lady had a Ford F150 like maybe late 90's early 2000's. It barely did anything to hers. But Jay says it did more then I think. Who knows I really didnt care too much about hers after she had that lady come over to my car and tell me I ran the red light. So I knew at that point they were screwing me over. No need to talk to them or care what kind of damage her truck had. The lady that ran the light never asked how I was and the police hardly spoke to me. They spent the majority of the time over with the lady and her friend that came up laughing and having a conversation.

yeah yeah Kevin, I guess you do get to pick on me now. LOL And let me know if you can get something worked out on that other thing we talked about. By the way nice car. My daughter wants a mustang, but with my history I dont think she will be getting one. haha. She will more then likely get an SUV like a Yukon or something bigger then a mustang or eclipse. Can't believe I only have one more year until she turns 16.

Thanks! It pretty much sucks ass right now not knowing what the insurance company will do. I love my freaking Eclipse! We just got it back like a week and half ago from the shop from getting another engine put in it. It was there for 2 weeks. The rental was nice but I was glad to get my car back. Now it looks like I will be without it for awhile again, if they fix it.

if a red light was ran, would a traffic camera been activated? plus with teh flow of traffic, wouldnt they be able to tell who was lying. shame on that lady for lying. glad your okay though

That sucks.. I dont think we have redlight cameras here. I would take that bitch to court and sue her ass for some neck injuries if you know what I mean.. When it comes to accidents, people come up with some BS quickly. I would fight the shit out of that if I was you.

yep no cameras here. And I'm with Mike. I'm just thinking it all through right now about how to handle it. Court date is July 8th so I have a little bit to sort through it. I have a friend that worked for a lawyer here so I will consult with her on what to do. Right now I'm just waiting to find out what the insurance is going to do about my car. And my knee. Best scenerio though is I get a new paint job, which the eclipse sure as hell needed. We shall see.

Yeah I'm sorry, there's no way that if someone ran a red light on me that they'd get away with it. You NEVER admit fault at the scene of an accident. You should have told your insurance company what actually happened and they would have gone to bat for you and not paid for her claims
