ok guys ill start putting up pics here so more people can get an idea of where im at
ive ben trying for about a half hour to figure out pics on this forum, someone help me out...

anyways, alot more to do, gotta put on the catback, wrap the wheels this coming weekend then play around with the coils again, the front rub strip ECS sent me was a jetta rub, so thats goin back to em and il get the new one over leave

haha the beauty of owning domestic, and for some reason certain hondas, is you can order from a store like summit :) and if removing the front bumper is the first step in a process i try and avoid it lol

BROWN can do alot for me, they just delivered the front rubstrip, its correct, its on the car and looks dope!
got the back ones on, took all of 3 minutes. i left the side rubs in ga thinking the front wouldnt get here in time...

my buddy just picked up a a5... it has rs6's and he doesnt like em, he wants to get some cheap looking all black wheels (ftl IMO) but whatever. he says i can have the rs6's skraight up!

I'm so jealous man! Looks hella clean. We need to do a shoot when I get the skirts on. I'm thinking of doing the Euro rubs too, just wanted to see how yours turned out.

at the ends of the long ones on the doors... they bow juuust a little bit and dont stick to the door.. my fix was to use a drop of epoxy. i think if i were to do it over i would have let them sit somewhere bent inward so when they were put on the door they would bow onto the door better instead of outward

theyre on there with double sided tape. i soaked the top and bottom of em with wd-40, like two runs along the top and bottom, then used fishing line to work through the glue on one end (theres a peg about a inch in...) so now you got a inch to start prying. pry with a knife at that end, once the end is up just pull the entire thing off.
rubbing really friken hard with a dry microfiber towel on the tape residue on the door creates enough friction to where it starts to rub off... i said f*k it after that first rubstrip and left the residue on.... put the new rubs right over the residue... no issues so far but i did take SOME of the residue off to create a even surface

rear bumper rubs just snap in/out. pried a corner with a electrical-taped flathead screwdriver to get it started

yea ive seen it done. best bet would be to use index cards and tape. the difference between painted and oe rubs is huge though. the painted rubs always come out dark as balls. but with a indigo car im sure the difference wouldnt be noticeable cause its dark on dark
