New To Columbus

Howdy Fellas. I just temporarily moved to Ft. Benning to attend Army OCS. I had a BMW 325i that I sold before coming out here and just picked up a 2001 Mustang GT last week. Aside from Flowmaster catback ... it's bone stock. Manual of course! Here are a few pics.

Anyhow, I saw that there is a Phenix City dragway but the website is down. Anyone have any details on when they run? I'm just interested in spectating. Are there any weekend cruises coming up?

Hey man, glad you found the site. Phenix City usually does test and tunes every Friday and Saturday, I think it's $10 to get in.

As for cruises, Kevo is in Columbus City Stangz, and they organize some really fun cruises. We meet every Thursday night at American Buffalo right on Veteran's and hang out. We cruise around sometimes afterward, but it's more spur of the moment.

Welcome, CCS meets up the first and third Friday of every month @ Petsmart 6pm. Usually cruise to somewhere to eat and then either hit up a drag strips or head to sonic to check out the local scene.

They are meeting @ Petsmart this Saturday @ 7am to cruise up to NOPI (Atlanta Motorspeedway)

Welcome, glad you found us. Yeah P.C. has a drag strip if you want to call it that. It's 1/8 mile and last time i went the times weren't being shown. On the bright side it is pretty cheap and they do not make you do tech cards. So you can bring any POS in there and rag it till it blows. I recommend you look at the one in Reynolds ga. http://www.silverdollarraceway.com/ its a lot more legit and only about a 40 minute drive.
