EDIT: im on lunch break and doing some research cause im having a brain lapse and im doubting myself on the bolt pattern.
doing a little research now and im 98% positive these are 5x130!!!
i get outa this emt class at 5, i plan on going back to my place, changing and going straight to the wheels in storage, they are stamped with the bolt pattern and such so i will have a definite edit and text to you, mike, when i do so.
if you still wanna buy em off me we can still do a test fit to see required adapter size. i know adptitusa can do a pair of adapters for around 90 bucks unless prices have changed.

and yea im getting rid of them for 400 here, 500 on the vortex. if adapters werent required for most people id try to ask 500 or 600ish.
BUT i need these things gone and i need some quik cash so im taking the tire/adapter thing into consideration and asking 400 if you guys need adapters, so after adpaters you spent about 550-600 for a set of oem twists... major thumbs up

Just looked them up, 5x130 with a center bore of 71.60. They wont fit :\
ninja edit without adapters these only fit VW toureg because it is a Cayenne and Audi Q7
However for 500 or so bucks is a damn good deal!

I know...But I dont think I can afford the tires...and the adapters...and the center caps...
dubnakd
08-18-2010, 06:11 PM
they dont look tat bad without center caps, and i found a place online oem center caps for 60 bucks. adapters from adaptitusa have 3 sizes for 45 bux a pop. there were 4 other sizes but they were all add 5$

Hmm...Cheap tires? Haha. If I could do it all for 5-600 I'd say it was possible right now. I have to save up for them otherwise. Probably have $600 on tap right now. And that would mean no Coils...:(

I guess that's the same boat I'm in atm. How much would it be to either powdercoat or polish these bad boys. Anyone know?
dubnakd
08-19-2010, 01:34 AM
dunno about powdercaoting but there was a dern good diy for polishing wheels, a guy did the whole thing on fat fives and it turned out crazy nice

Damn...I WANT FAT FIVES. Keep a lookout for those. I wonder what painting a set of Fat Fives matte black or gloss would look like.

those examples are pretty money... i just dont know how that black one got them to fit with a 20mm adapter....
must be a different wheel cause with the wheels i have 20mm was probably a third of what mikes car would have needed to make it.
on a mk4 though youll be fine. everyone runs em with like 35 or 30 mm in the rear. those audi boys are crazy with their rear area setup
just to make 100% sure well take one side of your wheels off and see how it looks without adapters to see whatcha need

You'll have to help me with that. This suspension shit is confusing...
dubnakd
08-22-2010, 10:12 AM
yea suspension install and dialing in is a pita
good ol streetlines though; once theyre in you can adjust em by simply turning the wheel, lifting the car up a bit, and adjusting em
Filthy Dub
08-22-2010, 11:25 AM
Yea thats why I decided on getting the coils so I could adjust some stuff when the twists go on.
