Finally Startin on My 67 f-100 project.

Ok i have a 1967 Ford F-100 with 4.9 in it With four on the floor, my plans are to drop her 6 in and since i love comic books im going with a theme beast from x-men blue and black exterior and not sure on iterior colors and audio yet . Its pretty much my dream truck my Uncle got a 78 when i was younger and i fell in love I started on working out the mechanical bugs yesterday I thought the fuel pump was bad but it wasn't the people who had it before i used bolts that were about 6 threads to long and broke one off in it and the trans was shot as well I already bought another motor and trans for it ( always good to have a back up motor only has 5000 miles on it) so i switched out trans also went ahead and changed the fly wheel, starter, and clutch while i was under it so thats took car of, i took the fuel pump bolts out the other motor and put them on the one in my truck it was a pain in the butt getting the old ones out but its all good nothing was damaged tommorrow spark plugs and wires hopefully that will kill the massive skip and set the points. I will post pics of her later when i get some i drew up a ruogh sketch of my idea for it i will post it also

Ok new plugs and wires made her run ten times better saving up for new distubter cap and full exaust i have a section missin from the exaust to mainfold flange where the donut gasket goes. also having a hard time with the rag joint but hopfully have it done today

Lookin at Getting headers and exaust soon prolly go glass packs ole school u know cherry bombs, and hopefully the drop kit soon still thinkin 4 inch or six drop not sure what do yall think? What do yall think of my concept???

You can get THRUSH glass-packs @ Advance for $15-$20 depending on length. I got one on my '91 F150...You planning on keeping the inline6 in doing a swap?

Besides the 1967 wiring in that engine bay, looks like a really solid project. I assume the drop your looking for is similar to the one in your sig, and I really like it.

Yeah the one in my sig is exactly the stance im looking for i just have to learn to drive it differntly its a long bed so high centering is a concern What do u think of the concept i drew up for the color scheme for it?

I'm planning on getting a 70s-80s model c10 orsomething with my taxes to keep the hatch in the garage and want to do about the same thing to it.

I say with the color scheme. Blue and silver would look good. I think leaving out the silver on the hood and making the silver start from right before the front wheel and come up smooth to a straight line two tone would look sweet.

wELL i got the truck 100% running like new but im might be trading it for a famiy car which is a 97 ponitac Bonnieville also might be trading the bronco for a 72 Mercedes Benz 280E that trade i kinda lookin foward to and i can still have a classic but the ole truck to family car not so much but its worth it i can drop it put a nice set of 20s and a lil boom boom in it and it could be a cool family car so we'll see what happens tommorrow and i will let yall know. Oh yeah lookin into a BmW What do yall think.

The truck is gone i traded for that Bonnieville i was talkin about thinkin it just needed injectors but turns out the head gasket on the backside of the motor ios blown i cant get the BMW so im walking got 800 bucks to my name gotta last 3 months on so please delete this thread i give up

Got the Bonnie back together and lookin to trade it for a honda that sideways 3.8 is a little harder to work on than i thought but I have found an 89 Honda Accord I likes it but nobody else does what do yall Think?
