Just thought I'd share with you guys my car with the most recent mod

clean install from what can be seen. little out of the normal for stock car and
this is the reason why lambos have normal doors now.

yep. workin on it. I want to get gloss black wheels with a machined or silver lip.

lolz... @discontained I get ya man. I understand most people don't like them. Honestly, I really only did it to catch attention and that's all. I'm just glad I had someone helping me who knew what they were doing. made for a nice, clean install. I only said what I said because I just went through this crap on the Mazda3 Forums. I understand people have their opinions, and I don't want to suppress that, but there's a way to express your opinion without being a jerk about it. Trust me, if your comment was the worst it got, I'd be in good shape.

ahhh i remember installing mine some years back, 14 hours though? took me about 4 hours the first time, then cut it down to 2 hrs after i caught on and helped friends...wait, let me ask, was it bolt on? did you just have to remove the fenders or more? to each its own man, dont let anyone stop you from doing what you want to your car.
@ Mike, i read that story a while back, very scary situation to be in, trapped in your car cause of how your expensive car lets you in and out the car...but with after market hinges, they do tend to be pushed out a little, the you push up, i used to always get out of my car without putting the door up, i used to get so tired of it and then people always asking me questions ( this was back when everyone wasnt doing lambo doors and i wa sonly one of the few to have em )

It was bolt-on, but we had to extend the wire harness. 25 wires that had to be soldered on two sides, then shrink wrap every wire and wrap the harness with electrical tape. To remove the fenders for adjustment and cutting, I had to take out the headlight, remove the front bumper, side skirts, and a little clip on the fender used to line up and hold the front bumper on the passenger side.

well damn, i see why it took so long Lol, i had to extend my wire hardness too, but not much, i was ready for it on the next few cars i helped on. Be proud of your work man, i put lambo doors on my civic si within months of getting the car, only had rims and a system and lambo doors, but hey, its good to get the most expensive things out the way first. Continue building your car to how you want and to your taste. Its not widely accepted now as it was when i first put mine on, but if its what you want, do it.
everyone starts somewhere.
the great thing about cars, whats " in style" to some people.... is temporary
i never liked the jdm phase, im not payin extra money to have parts directly from japan. im not putting a tow hook on my car unless i plan on towing something.
so for everyone who thinks they are " in style" now.... your time will come when your current mods will be " tasteless" or ridiculed by others.

x3 I'm definitely on board with that. I gotta get up the money first. Trust me when I say that those Lambo doors won't be the most expensive mod. My next major mod is to suicide my rear doors. That's gonna be expensive... but I need the room to work while detailing my car. I scraped my fat stomach so many times yesterday while I was cleaning out the interior of my car after the install it was ridiculous.

Lamborghini has always had a few models without the signature "lambo" style doors though.
As far as Wayne is concerned, he put something on his car that he wanted to have on his car. I think it's ludicrous for people to take their OPINION and present it as a fact. It is not a fact that Lamborghini doors are ugly... that is an opinion. In my eyes, it looks tight. I don't hook up my car the way everyone else wants me to. I don't spend my money for mods on my car so other people will be happy with them. I do it for me. We've gotten the point... you don't like lambo's. A lot of people don't like lambo's. That doesn't give every single Tom, Dick, and Harry the right to continually try to put me down because I happen to. It's okay to play around, but there's a point where it starts to cross the line. Honestly, I'm sorry I even posted up the mod I did. From this point forward I won't post or discuss mods I'm doing to my 3 on this forum.

Actually Kevo, I didn't know that. I'm sorry if I took it the wrong way, but I've had 2 days of being bashed for it and I'm just sick of it. I get people don't like it, but (and excuse my language) I'm tired of all the assholes on the internet who feel it to be their civic duty to bash the living shit out of everyone who does the mods to their car they pay for. I had no idea Lambo's were as hated as they are. I knew they weren't liked, but I didn't expect to receive the kinda of bashing and jack ass behavior I've been subjected to for the past 2 days. I'm a good guy and I totally respect everyone I know who makes mods I don't agree with, but I don't bash them for it. Maybe you just got caught in the cross hairs, but I'm so sick of it I could vomit. I actually had 3 assholes jack my thread on the Mazda3forums and the thread got locked because of it. They wouldn't stop, they just kept coming and coming and even after the moderator told them to stop... twice, they just kept coming. I'm a bit sensitive on the matter right now.

I hear ya man. Honestly I'm not posting up for opinions or anything... I'm just posting. I've waited years to do these mods because I've just never had the money. I'm going to keep them now for nothing more than just pure principle ya know? Not to mention, I'm not paying someone to them for me, I'm doing the mods myself. True I have to get help, but I'm getting in there and getting dirty with it.
Make sure you get in nice and deep...dirty is a plus.
Back to topic at hand, the ppl are this forum weren't bashing. They were giving an opinion and I (personally) was just shooting out a quote I give to anyone. It doesn't mean anything, just there to get a laugh. It is your car so have fun with it. Sorry for the confusion...actually glad to here someone tweaking on their own car, that has become a rarity in the modification world.

I know it was a raretity for me to work on my own car. I pay people to do most of. it was my idea and concept but my creation was beyond my limits.

The sad thing is it couldn't be further from the truth. There's always been a few select Lamborghini models without the signature vertical door. Just so happens one of those models was caught here. My advice is if you don't like them, please stay out of this forum if you can't post something constructive.

Looks good Dean. The love of cars and/or moding them is why this forum was created. I've read both threads and things got a bit heated to say the least. Talk about the straw that broke the camel's back. I definally see both sides. Honestly I think if people cant play nice they should find something else to do. Opinions will always be out there and you have to take them good or bad.
